The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur, one of India’s premier management institutions, hosted the Immersion Programme for India’s first dual degree programmes — Executive PhD & DBA (Batch 2024–27) and MBA Fintech Management (Batch 2024–26). Executive PhD & DBA Dual Degree Programme is offered in collaboration with IAE Bordeaux University School of Management, France. MBA Fintech Management Programme is jointly conducted with Sorbonne Business School, France.

DGT under the MSDE has joined hands with Aditya Birla Capital Foundation (ABCF) & Pilani Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Society (PIEDS) to promote Innovation & Entrepreneurship among students in all National Skills Training Institutes (NSTI) across the country.  At present, there are 33 NSTIs operational in the country, where more than 10,000 students pursuing skill training under the Craft Instructor Training Schemes (CITS) and Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS).

The University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, and IIHMR University, Jaipur, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic collaboration, advance research initiatives, and promote student development. The signing of the MoU marks a significant milestone, establishing a progressive partnership between two renowned institutions committed to academic excellence and research innovation. It will remain valid for three years, with an option for renewal.

The celebration started with a welcome address by Dr. P.R. Sodani, President, IIHMR University. The audience was taken on a nostalgic journey through IIHMR University’s illustrious 41-year history, beginning in 1984 and spanning the institution's impressive transformation into a pioneer in health management research. Dr. P.R. Sodani highlighted the achievements of IIHMR, including student growth, courses, research, and collaborations.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi has achieved another milestone, being honoured with two prestigious recognition at the FICCI Higher Education Excellence Awards 2025 - ‘University of the Year (Established)’ and ‘Excellence in Creating Employment & Entrepreneurship’. The awards were felicitated by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, at a ceremony organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry in New Delhi.

Narayan Seva Sansthan (NSS) concluded its 68th batch of a free three-month computer training program, handing out certificates to 19 dedicated differently-abled participants. The course equips learners with practical tools like MS Office, internet navigation, typing, and digital communication, directly linking them to job opportunities in a tech-driven world. NSS's efforts span a wide array of vocational training, from tailoring and embroidery to mobile repairing.

In pursuance of the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s call for a Viksit Bharat, the MSDE and the School and Higher Education Departments of Ministry of Education (MoE) convened a joint high-level interaction today at Kaushal Bhawan, New Delhi. Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) and Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled launched a 12-day intensive coaching camp, supported by NTT DATA under its CSR program. Inaugurated at the Samarthanam Art Centre, the camp will prepare India’s top 56 visually impaired women cricketers for the inaugural Women’s T20 World Cup Cricket for the Blind, scheduled for November 2025 across three venues — New Delhi, Kathmandu, and Bengaluru.

Healthium Medtech and the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) recently launched the first cohort of the C-CAMP Healthium Innovations Program for Surgical Interventions and Medical Technologies in Bengaluru. This program is a part of the CSR initiative of Healthium Medtech. Mankind Pharma has launched a powerful video campaign featuring legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan to raise awareness about organ donation on World Organ Donation Day. The campaign themed "Live Beyond Your Life" aims to address India's critically low organ donation rates and encourage more citizens to register as organ donors. The sobering reality in India is that for every 10 lakh Indians, less than 1% pledge to donate their organs to those in need.
