Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE has selected Honeywell to supply advanced technology, services, proprietary catalysts and equipment to help enable the refinery to process a wider range of crude and double the production capacity at Lekki, Nigeria by 2028. Cosmo First Limited Q2 FY26 EBIDTA improved on the back of higher sales volume (25%) and improved performance of the speciality chemicals subsidiary. The EBIDTA could have been better but for the margin decline of BOPP and BOPET commodity films, high USA tariffs which could only be partially passed on to the customers and stabilisation costs for the newly commissioned film lines. PAT impact is muted due to increased depreciation and interest related to new capacities.

Honeywell introduced a breakthrough technology that converts agricultural and forestry waste into ready-to-use renewable fuels for hard-to-abate sectors, such as the maritime industry. The technology produces lower-carbon marine fuel, gasoline and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) from inexpensive and abundant biomass sources like wood chips and crop residues. This renewable marine fuel can extend a vessel’s range without requiring costly engine upgrades.
