Ampere, the electric 2-wheeler brand of Greaves Electric Mobility, today announced major upgrades in its flagship electric scooter – Nexus, India’s Electric Scooter of the Year and holder of 5 National Records. With its LFP battery chemistry, Nexus now gets even more advanced through Nex.IO, an upgraded tech platform designed to deliver a fully loaded and connected riding experience.
At the core of this upgrade is the introduction of Map Mirroring Technology, which enables riders to access full-screen navigation directly on the scooter’s 7” TFT display—complete with zoom in/out, ETA, and distance-to-next-turn. The upgraded Nexus also integrates intuitive dashboard monitoring, music control, call connectivity, and real-time safety alerts—ensuring every ride is smarter, safer, and more engaging. By combining reliability with innovation, Ampere allows riders to not only enjoy these features but also the confidence of a scooter built to deliver on performance and safety.

Seamless Navigation with Map Mirroring: The scooter’s display mirrors maps in full screen, with ETA, and distance to next turn for effortless commuting.
Advanced Dashboard for Vehicle Monitoring: A high-resolution 7” TFT Touch Home-screen keeps riders updated with battery percentage, RPM, max speed, and more—delivering a hassle-free ride experience.
Stay Connected with the Outside World: With call notifications and call control, riders can stay in touch without distraction.
Groove through Every Ride: Integrated music connectivity allows riders to control songs, adjust volume, and auto-pause/resume music through touchscreen and handlebar buttons for safe riding convenience.
Safety in Every Kilometre: Through Ampere Care Connectivity, Nexus ensures rider safety with safety alerts and service reminders.
Ampere Connect Companion App: Riders can auto-pair their scooter with a dedicated mobile app to track, battery health, and more—making every ride smarter and more rewarding.
The upgraded Ampere Nexus is now available across dealerships.

Ampere Nexus also recently made history by becoming the first-ever electric scooter to reach the Shipki La Pass at an altitude of 13,200 ft, riding to just 200 metres from the LOC. The successful expedition showcased the endurance and performance of the EV scooter, proving that India’s EV revolution can thrive from urban roads to the nation’s most remote and challenging terrains. The achievement was also formally recognised with a certificate from the India Book of Records.
