Rosmerta Group bags projects worth INR 109.15 Cr for 6 Automated Testing Stations across Maharashtra

Gondia, Jalgaon, Nandurbar, Ratnagiri, Beed, and Chiplun to get state-of-the-art Vehicle Testing Facilities
Rosmerta Group, India’s leading mobility solutions provider, has entered into a landmark agreement to establish six Automated Testing Stations (ATS) across Maharashtra under a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) model. With an investment of INR 109.15 crore, the agreement spans over five years and marks a significant step in the state’s commitment to promoting road safety and vehicle compliance through cutting-edge infrastructure.
The six ATS locations, namely, Gondia, Jalgaon, Nandurbar, Ratnagiri, Beed, and Chiplun, will be equipped with advanced, automated testing systems to assess the roadworthiness of vehicles with precision and transparency. This project is in line with the Government of India’s directive under Chapter XI of the Central Motor Vehicle Rules (CMVR) to phase out manual testing and implement standardised, technology-enabled systems across the country.

This initiative follows Rosmerta’s ongoing work on a broader INR 400 crore project to develop 21 ATS across Maharashtra and complements its successful operation of pilot I&C centres commissioned by MoRTH, including over half a million vehicle tests nationwide.
