Dr. Vikraman V has been appointed as Chief of Renault Engineering at Renault Nissan Technology & Business Centre India (RNTBCI), Chennai. Renault Group has acquired Nissan’s remaining 51% stake in their joint plant in Chennai, thus becoming its sole owner. Renault Nissan Automotive India Private Ltd, RNAIPL, will now be fully consolidated in the group’s consolidated financial statements. This move is part of a broader momentum, highlighted by the opening of their largest design centre outside France, announced in April, and the launch of the New Renault Triber.

Renault Group announced the appointment of Stephane Deblaise as Chief Executive Officer of Renault Group in India, effective September 1, 2025. In this role, he will be responsible for defining and executing the Group’s strategy in India. All Renault Group entities in the country will report to him. He will report directly to Francois Provost, Renault Group Chief of Procurement, Partnerships and Public Affairs Officer.
